This Elmendorf-type tearing resistance tester is used for measuring the resistance against tearing of Paper, Board, Plastic Films, and other similar materials. The Pendulum, which is free to swing on its horizontal axis, with a calibrated scale mounted on it that indicates the Mean Tearing Force. The main Unit is provided with a single pendulum.
